Participants Still Needed for PWS Research Study
We have been asked to share an opportunity for adults with Prader-Willi syndrome to take part in an important research study. Recruitment is now underway and the research team is actively scheduling visits.
Appointments can be arranged throughout August and September, with additional dates available if needed. The team will work with participants to find a date and time that suits them.
What’s covered?
- All travel costs for both the participant and their supporter/carer.
- Reimbursement for the participant’s time.
- The research team can also arrange travel if this is preferred.
The study is also recruiting a comparison group, with all travel costs and reimbursement provided for these participants as well.
If siblings, friends or relatives would like to participate together, the research team can arrange for them to travel together and be seen on the same day where possible.
Who can take part?
To be eligible, participants should:
- Be 18–40 years of age.
- Have no metal implants or metal in their body (as required for the study).
If you would like to learn more about the study or have any questions about what participation involves, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the research team using the details provided in the study invitation.
