As part of our 40th anniversary as a charity, we invited our SUAS group to help shape something special for our community.

We asked them to vote on a mascot, something that could:

  • Represent the experiences of people living with Prader-Willi syndrome
  • Create a strong, positive identity for our community
  • Raise awareness in a way that feels respectful and empowering
  • Bring people together around a shared symbol

We’re proud to share that the SUAS group has chosen the lion as our mascot 🦁

This choice reflects the strength, resilience and courage shown every day.

The lion is a symbol of determination, confidence and the power within each person.

“The lion represents strength.”

“It reflects the effort it takes every day.”

“It shows confidence and inner courage.”

Now it’s time for the next step…

🎉 We’re launching a Naming Competition! 🎉

Help us find the perfect name for our lion! Submit your ideas and be part of creating this new symbol for our community.

The final name will be chosen by our SUAS group.
