The Race Around Ireland is a non-stop 2,200 km bicycle race that circumnavigates the island of Ireland anti-clockwise. In January 2014, a group of cyclists from Maynooth Students for Charity Cycling Club (who organise the Galway Cycle) decided to take on the challenge. This is the story, as told through the recollections of the participants, of how a bunch of Average Joes conquered the race and set a new Irish record time. The team chose to use the race to help raise awareness of Prader-Willi syndrome and are now very generously donating all profits from the book to PWSAI.
We think it deserves to become a best-seller! Buy your copy here.
>>Ann O’Neill and friends (above) raised a fantastic €6,000 at the Cork City Marathon. We are deeply grateful for their generous support!
